About the Role
Join us at Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, heritage and extraordinary experiences come together. As a Senior Waiter in The Guards Bar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service from the moment guests arrive until they leave, ensuring their experience is memorable and seamless. You will work closely with waiters and bartenders, supporting food pick up, table service, clearing, station refills and drink service. Acting as the communication link between front of house and back of house, you will maintain the bar and stations, assist the hostess and team members, and relay guest feedback to management.

Your role includes expert knowledge of the menu and products served, rapid and accurate delivery of food orders with professional explanations, assisting with table settings, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will also contribute to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing. In the absence of line managers or senior employees, you may take on additional responsibilities and support other departments as required.

Health and safety are paramount; you will be expected to report hazards, be familiar with emergency procedures, and promote a safe working environment for all staff and guests.

Experience
Proven track record of delivering high levels of service under pressure, ideally within a luxury hotel environment. Experience working to LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently while maintaining a professional appearance.
