About the Role
The primary purpose of a Site Engineer is to ensure construction projects are completed accurately and safely. You will provide technical advice, manage staff on-site, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will oversee all on-site activities to ensure alignment with the project’s design, specifications, and legal requirements. Responsibilities include managing daily site activities, solving problems during construction, and helping keep the project running smoothly from start to finish.

Experience
- Notable experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site role
- Ability and willingness to guide, mentor and develop junior staff
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in working on a similar project is desirable but not essential

About you
Proactive and organized with strong leadership skills. Able to work collaboratively with project managers, site managers, supervisors, and suppliers to coordinate and review safe system compliance and daily processes. Detail-oriented with the ability to review drawings and raise technical queries effectively.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng)
- SMSTS
- First Aid
Desirable:
- Appointed Person and lifting training
- Mental Health First Aid
- Fire Marshalling
