About the Role
The primary purpose of a Site Engineer is to ensure that construction projects are completed accurately and safely. You will provide technical advice, manage staff on-site, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will oversee all on-site activities to ensure alignment with the project’s design, specifications, and legal requirements. Responsibilities include managing daily site activities, solving problems that arise during construction, and helping keep the project running smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
Managing site and technology engineers and working closely with all SVD delivery team members. Ensuring that site surveys and records are provided as required. Collaborating with project managers, site managers, supervisors, and suppliers to coordinate, develop, and review safe system compliance and other daily processes. Ensuring all on-site activities are recorded through daily diaries, production control schedules, and photographs. Reviewing drawings and raising technical queries relating to the design team.

Experience
- Notable experience delivering infrastructure projects in a site role.
- Ability and willingness to guide, mentor, and develop junior staff.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in working on a similar project is desirable but not essential.

Professional, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. You should be confident in managing site activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, HND, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
- SMSTS.
- First Aid.
Desirable:
- Appointed Person and lifting training.
- Mental Health First Aid.
- Fire Marshalling.
