About the Role
Are you a highly experienced Social Work professional ready to step into a Team Manager role and champion high-quality, actively anti-racist practice? Join the London Borough of Hackney, a dynamic and progressive borough committed to social justice, equity, and becoming an actively anti-racist organisation. As Team Manager for the Integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS), you will take a clear leadership role in shaping and embedding redesigned service pathways within our Section 75 partnership with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT).

This role involves providing day-to-day leadership and driving strengths-based, trauma-informed, and anti-racist practice for adults with mental health needs. You will lead and supervise a team of social workers and staff, ensuring legally compliant and person-centred practice, managing performance, allocating workload, and overseeing complex safeguarding. You will also contribute to service-wide priorities and change programmes while working collaboratively with ELFT and wider partners to deliver integrated support for residents.

Hackney Council values its staff as its greatest asset and offers a supportive environment with comprehensive training and development opportunities, including leadership programmes, mentoring, and coaching. You will benefit from manageable caseload oversight, a strong senior management structure, and a range of financial, wellbeing, and lifestyle benefits such as flexible working options, tenancy deposit loans, and discounted gym membership.

We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, included, and involved, and we encourage applications from individuals who share our values of being Proud, Ambitious, Pioneering, Open, Proactive, and Inclusive.
