About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK, working in partnership with the MBBS programme at King’s College London to deliver high quality undergraduate medical education across Guy’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. Hosting over 800 students annually, the Undergraduate team is seeking a Band 5 Simulation Technician/Administrator to support the effective and efficient delivery of Simulation and Interactive Learning sessions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Undergraduate Coordinators, medical, nursing, and clerical staff to support the general running of the service. You will act as a point of contact for centre clients and take responsibility for the logistical management of day-to-day event delivery, ensuring smooth operation of simulation activities.

Experience

About you
- Ability to analyse problems and develop practical, workable solutions independently, including leading others to solve problems within their teams
- Highly motivated with the ability to prioritise workload, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of audio-visual and high fidelity simulation equipment
- Desirable: Basic engineering skills and ability to perform basic equipment repairs

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proven track record of continuous professional and management development
