About the Role
We are seeking a numbers-savvy Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team supporting our four London properties. You will contribute to the day-to-day financial management of the hotels, including managing site revenue and variances, overseeing the sales ledger, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time. You will help maintain smooth financial processes and continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include preparing monthly reports, supporting the hotel month-end process with P&Ls, balance sheets, and cashflow statements, and working closely with hotel teams as a trusted commercial and financial partner. You will also provide input into tax and regulatory filings and payments, including VAT returns, P11D, and PAYE, and participate in external audits.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of well-known hospitality brands while supporting a fantastic guest experience across multiple sites.
Experience
2-3 years of hotel finance experience is essential. Ideally, you will have a strong understanding of compliance, best practice hotel operations, and familiarity with standard systems such as PMS and reservations systems.
About you
You balance a methodical, process-driven approach with flexibility and creativity to meet deadlines and find solutions. You have a passion for hospitality, whether it’s a drink, a meal, an event, or a stay. You strive to have a positive impact on those you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience. You work well in a team environment, leaving egos aside to get things done efficiently. You are open to trying new approaches and enjoy a good laugh along the way. You want to be part of a supportive team that works hard and has fun.
Qualifications
Relevant finance qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not explicitly required. A strong willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality finance sector is essential.
