About the Role
The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of the Front Office, working closely with—and in the absence of—the Front Office Manager. This role ensures a seamless guest experience through consistent service excellence and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will oversee the daily activities of the reception team to guarantee smooth and efficient service delivery in line with company standards. Key responsibilities include managing guest check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and hospitality, coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to promptly address guest requests and resolve operational issues, and assisting in staff scheduling, training, and performance management to maintain optimal front office staffing and service quality. You will also handle guest complaints professionally, monitor front office inventory and support revenue management initiatives by tracking occupancy rates and booking patterns. Ensuring compliance with security protocols, safety procedures, and company policies is essential, as is preparing and analysing front office reports and conducting quality assurance checks to maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the front office area. Serving as the point of contact for guest inquiries and special requests, you will provide personalised and attentive service to enhance the guest experience.
