About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a Head Chef to become part of our TRIBE community as we continue to make waves in London. Our first TRIBE hotel launched in summer 2022, redefining hospitality for a new generation of travellers. TRIBE is all about the mix: unapologetically modern designed hotels that confidently blend mainstream style with bespoke, eye-catching, iconic pieces. The result is a bold and fun place offering a high-end experience at a fair price, giving guests everything they need and nothing they don’t.
‘Feels Like June’ is a California-inspired restaurant with bright flavours, summer vibes, and a Europe-meets-West Coast flair where hotel guests and local residents meet to enjoy breakfast, dinner, cocktails, or simply work from the lounge area.
As Head Chef, you will plan, create, innovate and develop menus that align with the brand concept and seasonal availability. You will ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards while maintaining consistency in food preparation and portion control. Leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team will be key, fostering a positive, efficient, and professional kitchen culture.
You will organise staff rotas, manage labour costs and workload effectively, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development. Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations is essential. You will monitor food costs, minimise waste, manage the kitchen budget, and work with suppliers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
Supporting special events, tastings, and menu launches, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager. Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You will lead by example, keeping your team involved and motivated, helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing the best TRIBE experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions.
Join us and be part of an exciting hospitality concept new to the London market, where creativity and innovation are encouraged and rewarded.
