About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our TRIBE community as we launch our first TRIBE hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022. TRIBE is designed for a new type of traveller, offering unapologetically modern hotels that mix mainstream style with bespoke, eye-catching, and iconic pieces. The result is a bold and fun environment delivering a high-end experience at a fair price, providing everything you need and nothing you don’t.

In this role, your curious, caring, and conscious attitude will be essential in curating the TRIBE experience, defined by authenticity and a commitment to seamless, functional service that makes life easier for guests.

Your responsibilities will include organising team schedules, handling staff issues, authorising leave, interviewing, hiring, and training new employees. You will evaluate employee performance, provide guidance, and manage department-specific initiatives ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget. You will fill in for absent employees and assist teams to successfully complete projects.

Maintaining a high and consistent standard of customer service is key, alongside applying knowledge of emerging trends to inform purchasing and inventory decisions. You will manage the departmental budget, monitor front office expenses, prepare monthly management reports on customer feedback, bookings, and cancellations, and keep updated records.

Supporting, training, and supervising front office staff, night managers, and guest service managers will be part of your daily tasks. You will ensure all customer-related tasks are handled accurately and promptly to enhance guest experience, assist with customer complaints and special requests, troubleshoot emergencies, and maintain a tidy front desk stocked with necessary materials.

Additionally, you will ensure proper mail distribution, compliance with company policies and security requirements, and support Guest Services Managers in greeting and welcoming guests.

Join us and be part of an innovative, fast-growing international group committed to building a global brand and offering a creative and rewarding work environment.
