About the Role
We are looking for a Back of House Manager to join our team of superstars at The Hoxton Holborn, located in the heart of The City near the West End. The role involves taking ownership of Health & Safety across all Back of House areas and maintaining a clean, food-safe working environment through daily walkarounds and EHO-compliant cleaning checks. You will manage COSHH training and certification across all Food & Beverage departments, oversee ordering and storage of chemicals and F&B products, and ensure deliveries are checked, signed off, stored correctly, and rotated according to stock control procedures. You will manage refuse storage and removal, coordinate maintenance of culinary areas and equipment, and work closely with Finance to ensure accurate paperwork submission.

Leading, motivating, and developing the Kitchen Porter team is a key responsibility, including implementing weekly training focuses and managing shift cover requirements. You will oversee Kitchen Porter payroll administration, maintain the staff canteen, and ensure company uniform and presentation standards are upheld.

Additional duties include reviewing cleaning, pest control, and maintenance reports with senior management, managing labour costs within budget, producing monthly Health & Safety and COSHH compliance reports, maintaining kitchen due diligence records, conducting stock takes and laundry counts, replenishing first aid supplies, and supporting Housekeeping with loading bay cleanliness.
