About the Role
As a Butler at Raffles London at The OWO, you will act as a Raffles Ambassador, taking pride in serving our guests and introducing the hotel’s vast offerings while sharing vibrant stories of this magnificent Grade II* listed landmark. You will be the key point of contact for guests staying in the Butler Suites, ensuring their privacy and comfort, and coordinating all daily services around their itineraries to exceed expectations and create moments of delight and surprise. Your role involves building strong, genuine rapport with guests and tailoring your style of service to their preferences. Each day will be unique, requiring consistent, personable service and flexibility. Responsibilities include warm meet and greet, room orientation, unpacking and packing, guest wardrobe management, organising itineraries, deliveries, gift wrapping, morning service, table setting, in-room dining experience, turndown service, preparation for departure, stock take, Butler pantries, shoe polishing, and stationery management. You will also coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure suites are immaculate and amenities are set up according to guest profiles. Additionally, you will proactively share insights about local events and manage pets and kids’ programmes as well as long-term storage solutions. This role may require additional duties in the absence of senior staff and occasional work in other departments or restaurants. You will uphold the highest standards of health and safety, adhering to all procedures and promoting awareness within your team. Requirements

Experience
Previous experience working as a Butler in a luxury establishment with great in-depth knowledge of hotel operations. Proven ability to provide high levels of service under pressure. Experience with royal protocol and etiquette is essential. Confident in table service and F&B operations.

Enthusiastic and committed to delivering consistent and personable service. Passionate about delighting guests with creative, non-scripted approaches. High emotional intelligence and genuine interest in people. Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and self-manage workload. Flexible with working shifts and able to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required. Intrigued by history and eager to explore the local area. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, reading guests and adapting interactions accordingly.

Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include understanding of the luxury sector and UHNW customer needs. Previous experience working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is advantageous. Ability to think outside the box and a passion for hospitality.
