About the Role
Join a hotel that is part of the Accor network, encompassing over 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations worldwide. At Ibis London Excel, we are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver high-quality food across our hotel restaurant and breakfast service. Your responsibilities will include preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard, ensuring all food is prepared according to hotel recipes, standards and presentation guidelines. You will maintain excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times and assist with preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and special events as required. Monitoring food quality, freshness and portion control, working efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency, assisting with stock rotation, deliveries and storage of food products, minimising food waste and maintaining good stock control will be key parts of your role. Additionally, you will keep equipment and kitchen areas clean and organised, support and communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and follow COSHH, HACCP and other relevant food safety procedures. You will also carry out any other reasonable duties required by the management team.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen environment is essential.

About you
Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements. Ability to work a flexible rota including evenings, weekends and public holidays. Must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are stated, but relevant culinary experience and knowledge of food safety standards such as COSHH and HACCP are required.
