About the Role
The Savoy is one of the world's most iconic hotels, renowned for outstanding service excellence since 1889. As a Chef de Partie within the Food & Beverage Main Kitchen, you will work alongside a talented brigade of chefs to produce 5-star quality food for our guests. You will assist with training needs, help control your section, and deputise in supervisors' absence to ensure the smooth running of the section, maintaining The Savoy's high standards.
Your responsibilities include cooking daily according to business requirements, coordinating team members to perform cohesively, supervising all kitchen aspects, working closely with Sous Chefs on day-to-day matters, and ensuring clear communication of bookings and movements within the team. You will also supervise and demonstrate cooking methods across outlets when required, observe and test foods served, and ensure proper handling of all food items in line with health and hygiene procedures.
You will participate in training programmes, manage raw food availability and ordering, receive and check incoming goods, and support external duties such as special events, promotions, and demonstrations.
