The Oncology and Haematology Clinical Trials (OHCT) team at Guy’s and St Thomas’ is a large, multidisciplinary group dedicated to improving treatment choice, clinical care and outcomes for cancer patients through innovation and excellence in clinical trials.
We are seeking a Clinical Research Practitioner II to join our Gynae Research Team. This role offers the opportunity to build a career in research within one of London’s largest oncology and haematology research teams. Following a comprehensive induction, you will lead the coordination of a portfolio of clinical trials, assist in trial set-up, identify and discuss trials with patients, collect and report data, and support patients and their carers throughout treatment.
The role involves managing a caseload of research participants, acting as their advocate, and working autonomously within professional practice guidelines and the Research Governance Framework. You will work flexibly across disciplines to ensure the success of clinical research projects, supervise and mentor staff, and contribute to service evaluation and improvement. Ensuring research is conducted according to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Medicines for Human Use Regulations is a key responsibility.

Qualifications
- Theoretical knowledge equivalent to degree/NVQ Level 6 qualification in life sciences or related field
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training
- Theoretical knowledge relevant to the field equivalent to Postgraduate diploma
