About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, teaching, research, and patient-centred care, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Integrated Local Services (ILS) delivers community and inpatient health services for adults in Lambeth, Southwark, and Lewisham, alongside hospital-based services for the wider region. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and committed Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) Manager to join the ILS QIPS team. This role is key to ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care through effective clinical governance, patient safety initiatives, and quality improvement across community services.
As QIPS Manager, you will work closely with Clinical Governance Leads, Heads of Nursing, and the Directorate Management Team to embed learning, strengthen compliance, and drive sustainable improvements. You will coordinate patient safety initiatives, support clinical governance processes, analyse data to identify themes, and provide coaching and training to staff. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing transformation and development of GSTT community services, ensuring robust governance and quality assurance.
