As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will oversee the post-sales lifecycle for Stripe users, ensuring they realize maximum value from their investment. This role directly impacts company growth by driving user success, retention, expansion, and renewal outcomes.
You will manage a book of enterprise customers, delivering proactive workshops, business reviews, payments insights, and thought leadership to help users grow their business. The role requires close collaboration with sales, technical account managers, and operations teams to engage customers in product, payment, and technical conversations. You will act as a trusted advisor, advocate for customers internally, and identify opportunities for account expansion.
Experience
7+ years in a client-facing role, ideally in enterprise relationship management with large, global, and complex organizations, preferably involving a technical product. Proven track record leading technical conversations and influencing action based on requirements and value. Strong problem-solving skills.
About you
Strong business acumen with an understanding of user business drivers and strategy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong executive presence and presentation skills, especially in-person with multiple stakeholders. Experience managing large, complex projects or programs. Ability to handle difficult customers or situations and drive resolutions. Skilled at navigating data and people to find answers.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a history of success as a consultant, pre-sales, technical account manager, or equivalent. Proven track record of achieving targets and goals, preferably in a sales setting.
