As an Integration Engineer on the Solutions Architecture team at Metronome, you will work at the intersection of sales, growth, product, and R&D. Your primary focus will be to ensure customers successfully implement Metronome’s products and realize value quickly. You will engage deeply with clients to understand their billing, pricing, and quote-to-cash challenges and provide expert guidance and hands-on configuration.

Responsibilities include discovery and scoping of client needs, technical and integration design, testing, data migration, and launch support. You will design integrations between Metronome’s APIs and client business systems such as CRM/CPQ, Payments, Taxation, ERP, Billing Providers, and Analytics tools. Acting as a liaison between clients and Metronome’s R&D, you will advocate for client needs and feature requests.

You will build strong relationships across client organizations, from operational teams to C-Suite executives, often meeting customers in person. Additionally, you will support prospect integrations and influence their pricing and packaging strategies. Ensuring a smooth handoff to post-implementation teams such as Customer Success and Technical Support will also be part of your role.

Experience
- 10+ years in technical and/or customer-facing roles involving SaaS products, such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical account management.
- Deep knowledge of the quote-to-cash space, including integration or interaction with Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, Billing, Tax, Payments, and related tools.
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-phase technology transformation programs for enterprise companies.
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments that value high agency.
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders including technical, go-to-market, and finance teams.
- Enthusiasm for building and improving go-to-market playbooks, processes, and reusable assets.

Qualifications
- Preferred but not required: experience as a software engineer, product manager, or other technical roles.
- Preferred knowledge of project and program management fundamentals.
- Experience working with personas such as Finance/CFO, Engineering/CTO, Product/CPO, Sales Ops/CRO, and Billing Operations.
- Familiarity with logs, metrics, billing, finance, or other infrastructure or financial tooling and concepts.
