This Deputy Fire Safety Manager role is a key position within the Fire Team in the Development & Compliance team at Essentia. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the Trust complies with all legal and statutory fire safety requirements across a complex, multi-site organisation. You will provide expert fire safety advice and support to the Trust board and senior management, lead on fire safety policies and strategies, and oversee the delivery of fire safety training programmes. Qualifications
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Operational Fire Safety Management.
IFPO, NEBOSH, IFE or equivalent fire training course certification.
Experience
Substantial experience in fire safety training management.
Significant experience operating in a fire safety role within an estates and facilities context.
Extensive experience undertaking complex risk assessments in a large, complex multi-site organisation.
Fully conversant with statutory and legal requirements impacting building owners and occupiers.
Experience working in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and HTM 05 series of guidance documents.
