About the Role
This is a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave at Raffles London at The OWO, a prestigious Grade II* listed Edwardian building located on Whitehall. As Evening Housekeeping Supervisor, you will guide and train Room Attendants, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and turn downs in guest rooms to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience. You will oversee the cleanliness of bedrooms, corridors, staircases, and service areas to meet Raffles London’s exacting standards. Acting as an ambassador of Raffles values, you will interact warmly and professionally with guests and colleagues alike.

You will provide daily direction and task allocation for room attendants and house porters, participate in departmental meetings and training, and liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication and support. You will maintain effective communication within the housekeeping team, escalate issues as needed, and ensure maintenance faults are reported and resolved promptly. You will be knowledgeable of all hotel services and outlets to respond efficiently to guest requests and ensure the team uses Nowcross for communication and issue tracking.

In the absence of senior management, you will assume additional responsibilities and may be required to work in other departments or restaurants. Leadership qualities such as composure under pressure, team guidance, and encouragement of creativity and innovation are essential. You will also uphold health and safety standards, reporting hazards immediately and ensuring compliance with fire, emergency, and bomb procedures to protect guests and staff.

Experience
Proven ability to deliver high levels of service under pressure. Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience is desirable. Experience working within a luxury hotel environment with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is an advantage.
