About the Role
As an Event Manager at ACCOR, you will take full ownership of every confirmed event from sale to delivery, ensuring all aspects meet the contracted specifications. You will lead client handover meetings, plan and coordinate event elements including floor plans, food and beverage service, entertainment, AV and technical production, styling, and activities. You will write and maintain function sheets (BEOs), identify and secure equipment, staffing and resources, and coordinate external suppliers such as AV, entertainment, florists, security, and transport. You will run pre-event operations meetings, oversee event setup on-site, and act as the decision-maker for any on-the-day changes. Additionally, you will hand over the client’s point of contact to the operational team and assist as needed.
You will maintain all client communications and event documentation via the Tripleseat/CRM system, ensuring compliance with company policies. This includes managing contracts, final BEOs, client records, and keeping venue content current. You will track event metrics, update booking platforms, and ensure accurate availability.
Client relationship management is key, acting as the main contact before, during, and after events, managing expectations, gathering feedback, and building repeat business. You will assist reactive sales efforts by responding to enquiries, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, upselling, and cross-selling across the London portfolio.
You will maintain comprehensive knowledge of all London venues to provide cover when needed, ensuring smooth handovers and consistent event management standards. Financial responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, monitoring payments, producing final billing, and supporting revenue forecasting.
Compliance with licensing, food safety, allergen regulations, supplier documentation, data protection, and filing requirements is essential. Post-event duties include conducting debriefs, capturing learnings, reconciling finances, updating client records, and setting follow-up activities.
