About the Role
The Events Executive will work alongside the Events Managers to assist with selling and planning a wide range of events at Raffles London at The OWO. This role involves delivering exceptional service and ensuring the events offering remains best-in-class, evolving with industry trends to continually delight guests. You will be responsible for developing new business and contributing to projects that strengthen the positioning of the events department.
The role includes handling initial enquiries, preparing proposals, sending contracts, negotiating pricing, and preparing event orders. You will plan and execute events to the highest standards in line with Raffles London’s expectations. Being present at events to provide a seamless link between clients and the operations team is essential, as is supporting the smooth running of events. Post-event follow-up, including gathering client feedback and ensuring accurate and timely billing, is also part of the role. Additional duties include conducting site visits, entertaining guests and social agents/bookers, accurately forecasting events, and preparing forecast reports when required. You may also be asked to cover responsibilities in the absence of senior staff or work in different departments or restaurants as needed.

Experience
Recent experience in events or a similar role is essential. Market knowledge of competitors and event industry trends is required. Food and beverage knowledge is important. Experience working under pressure while maintaining high service standards is necessary.

Qualifications
Desirable knowledge includes Delphi FDC, Salesforce, and Opera PMS. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is advantageous.
