About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Team Member Bar & Floor, you will provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests, building rapport and creating memorable experiences. You will anticipate guests' needs, offer menu recommendations, upsell food and beverage offerings, and resolve guest concerns efficiently.
You will demonstrate excellent knowledge of all food, beverage and cocktail menus, prepare and serve drinks according to company standards, take and process orders accurately, and deliver food and drinks efficiently. Your responsibilities include table service, section management, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of bar stations and restaurant sections, and assisting with opening and closing procedures.
Supporting private events, group dining and special functions, you will work flexibly across bar and restaurant operations, support colleagues during busy periods, and communicate effectively with kitchen, reception, housekeeping and management teams. You will participate in training across all Food & Beverage service areas and maintain a collaborative "one team" approach.
Commercially, you will promote hotel and restaurant services, drive food and beverage revenue through suggestive selling and upselling, recommend premium products, and support achievement of departmental revenue targets.
Management duties include handling transactions accurately, following cash handling procedures, controlling stock, reducing waste, assisting with stock counts, and maintaining accurate records. You will comply with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards, maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming, adhere to allergen awareness procedures, and ensure a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Safety responsibilities include correct use of equipment, reporting faults, handling glassware and chemicals safely, reporting accidents and hazards promptly, cleaning spillages immediately, following manual handling procedures, and participating in mandatory training. You will also support the company's sustainability initiatives through responsible waste management and ensure all service areas remain compliant with hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards throughout your shift.

Experience
Previous experience in food and beverage service is advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.

Qualifications
Eligibility to work in the UK is required. No specific qualifications are mandatory, but participation in all mandatory training relating to health & safety, food safety, fire safety and licensing regulations is expected.
