About the Role
The Savoy is one of the world's most iconic hotels, renowned for outstanding service excellence and five-star luxury hospitality since 1889. As a Florist Intern, you will play a key role in exceeding guest expectations within our Florist department. You will assist with daily tasks including retail shop duties, workroom activities, online orders, and guest communication. Your responsibilities include ensuring the flower shop and department meet the hotel brand and luxury standards, fulfilling all guest flower requests with professionalism, and taking ownership of guest requests through to completion. You will prepare and prioritize guest orders for delivery to rooms, maintain display stands and pricing, and handle guest interactions with politeness and genuine interest. Additionally, you will manage POS transactions, update guest profiles with preferences, encourage upselling and revenue opportunities, and maintain stock levels. You will support the Savoy Flowers Team with adhoc duties, especially during peak times, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaboration with other departments and adherence to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations are essential. You will also be expected to follow all Savoy policies and contribute actively to our mission of ‘Turning Moments into Memories’ for our guests.

Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in Luxury London Retail or Hospitality Industry.

Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships. Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
