About the Role
Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to join Agentforce, the future of AI-powered CRM solutions. As a Technical Builder embedded in a cross-functional builder pod, you will design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions for Fortune 500 customers. This role involves product engineering with real customer impact, not configuration work. From day one, your code will run in production environments where the stakes are high.

You will leverage best-in-class AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, and Salesforce coding products like Vibes to ship real customer solutions. Working alongside Senior Technical Builders and a Strategic Builder, you will own technical components end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, with structured mentorship and a clear path to leading complex deliveries.

Agentforce is evolving rapidly, and you will have access to cutting-edge capabilities and direct influence on product development through your field insights. Your work will include designing agent intelligence, integrating with customer systems, building data pipelines on platforms like Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks, and contributing to proofs-of-concept and MVPs that deploy in days.

This role requires approximately 25% travel to work directly with customers and deliver impactful AI solutions that transform business operations.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience with at least one production system you can confidently discuss.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, able to analyze and improve prompt performance.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with willingness to learn additional languages.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience working in customer-facing technical roles is advantageous.

Qualifications

- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery is beneficial.
