About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a Head Chef to become part of our TRIBE community as we continue to make waves in London. Our first TRIBE hotel launched in summer 2022, redefining hospitality for a new generation of travellers. TRIBE hotels combine unapologetic modern design with a bold and fun atmosphere, offering a high-end experience at a fair price. The California-inspired restaurant ‘Feels Like June’ features bright flavours and a Europe-meets-West Coast flair, serving hotel guests and local residents from breakfast to dinner, cocktails, or a relaxed workspace in the lounge area.

As Head Chef, you will plan, create, innovate and develop menus that align with the brand concept and seasonal availability. You will ensure all dishes meet quality, taste and presentation standards while maintaining consistency in food preparation and portion control. Leading, training and motivating the kitchen team will be key, fostering a positive, efficient and professional kitchen culture.

You will organise staff rotas, manage labour costs and workload effectively, conduct performance reviews and support staff development. Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety and hygiene regulations is essential. You will monitor food costs, minimise waste and manage the kitchen budget, working closely with suppliers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.

Supporting special events, tastings and menu launches, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager. Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You will lead by example, keeping your team involved and motivated, helping them feel empowered and confident to provide the best TRIBE experiences for our guests.
