About the Role
The Novotel London Greenwich is a 4-star hotel offering 151 bedrooms and five conference rooms, ideal for business, leisure and family trips. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised. Your duties will include washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen utensils, supporting chefs and kitchen staff with general tasks, cleaning floors and surfaces, taking out rubbish, and helping with deliveries and storing supplies when required. You will work as part of a friendly and busy kitchen team, following food hygiene, health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Experience
No formal qualifications required. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage. Basic understanding of food hygiene is helpful.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking with good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and remain calm under pressure. Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications
Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
