About the Role
Join Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, where innovation meets action and ambition drives success. As a Named Account Executive focused on Building Societies, you will sell the full Salesforce Customer 360 platform into the Building Society and Mutual sector, partnering with strategic enterprise customers. You will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision makers, helping these organisations transform member engagement, grow relationships, and deliver exceptional experiences.
Your role will combine managing warm leads with whitespace prospecting to identify and create new opportunities across your territory. You will develop and execute strategic account and territory plans, lead the end-to-end sales process, and collaborate with internal Salesforce teams including Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, and Partners.
As part of your responsibilities, you will formalise a go-to-market territory strategy, create a qualified target account list within 30 days, and drive growth within existing accounts through upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You will leverage your industry knowledge and customer insights to develop compelling business cases that demonstrate how Salesforce can improve operational efficiency and growth for Building Societies.
Experience
- Proven success in quota-carrying, technology solution-based direct sales
- Experience selling into Building Societies, Mutuals, Financial Services, or adjacent regulated industries
- Skilled in developing account plans to retain and grow Annual Contract Value (ACV) through upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Ability to uncover customer processes, business objectives, and strategic goals through discovery and value hypotheses
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage credibly with C-suite and senior business stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats using tools such as Slack, Google Slides, and Zoom
About You
- Understanding of the Building Society model, member-led organisations, mortgages, lending, retail banking, or broader financial services is advantageous
- Familiarity with sales methodology frameworks and strategic alliance development
- Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing quota in a fast-paced environment
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams and leverage resources to align with account objectives
