About the Role
ibis Styles London Southwark is a stylish and affordable hotel located in the heart of London’s Southwark neighbourhood, close to London Bridge, Borough Market, and the Southbank. The hotel offers 154 well-appointed rooms, free Wi-Fi, and a lively bar. As a Night Auditor, you will welcome guests and take care of them from arrival through to departure, ensuring a smooth and secure environment during the night. Your role is vital in contributing to guest satisfaction by providing high quality services with a warm and friendly approach.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all guests are attended to promptly and efficiently in a professional manner
- Updating details of regular guests using Guest History
- Actioning all diary events, flags, and specials
- Checking and passing on all guest mail, messages, and parcels promptly
- Liaising closely with Housekeeping regarding room information and lost property
- Ensuring guest registration forms are completed correctly and updating the computer accordingly
- Ensuring all account postings are accurate and producing necessary paperwork
- Performing an accurate cashiering balance at the end of shifts
- Completing all audit tasks as specified by the Night Auditor's checklist
- Performing any other duties within your competence as required by management

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Opera software is ideal.
