About the Role
Join Accor at Ibis London Stratford as a Night Auditor and become an essential part of our hospitality team. In this role, you will ensure smooth overnight operations and maintain exceptional guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include performing end-of-day accounting procedures such as balancing daily transactions and preparing overnight reports, verifying and reconciling guest accounts, and resolving discrepancies. You will provide outstanding customer service during check-ins, check-outs, and throughout the night shift, assisting guests with inquiries and requests to ensure a positive experience. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees, generate and distribute financial and operational reports, collaborate with other departments to address guest-related issues, monitor room inventory and availability, handle credit card and other payment transactions accurately, perform front desk duties as needed, and open the breakfast buffet for the next morning. Experience
Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
About you
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent customer service orientation with a guest-focused approach.
Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of daytime management.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA Cloud) and Microsoft Excel.
Basic accounting knowledge and ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures.
