About the Role
Join Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark luxury hotel blending heritage and modern elegance. As a Night Luggage Porter, under the direction of the Luggage Master, you will be a key point of contact for guests in the lobby, working closely with the concierge team to provide exceptional service. Your responsibilities include assisting guests with their luggage, delivering it promptly to their rooms, running errands for guests and employees, and handling all luggage, packages, and parcels with the utmost care and attention to detail. You will provide a genuine, attentive, friendly, positive, and proactive service while managing public areas of the hotel to meet and exceed the high standards expected by Raffles. This role involves manual handling and lifting, requiring adherence to health and safety procedures. You will also act as a liaison between the front office and guests, assist door, concierge, and lobby staff to ensure smooth guest transitions, track all luggage and guest items, arrange taxis and transfers, and perform additional duties as required, including covering for senior staff or working in other departments.
Health and Safety
This role involves heavy lifting and manual handling with full training provided. You will be expected to report and rectify hazards immediately, be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency, and Bomb procedures, and ensure the safety of all persons and property on the premises. You will promote a general awareness of health and safety in all tasks and activities undertaken.

Experience
Recent experience within 5-star hotels or a similar role is essential. Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.

Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English, both verbal and written. A UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
