About the Role
Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, is seeking a Principal AI Architect to join our team and lead the future of AI innovation. In this senior, hands-on technical leadership role, you will design, validate, and operationalize enterprise-grade data and AI architectures centered on Salesforce Data Cloud (D360) and the Agentforce platform. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding Chief Data Officers and Enterprise Architects through emerging AI solutions that integrate with complex enterprise ecosystems including hyperscalers, data lakes, and governance frameworks.

This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, platform architecture, and applied AI. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Product teams to ensure customers realize the full value of the platform by designing scalable, secure solutions. Responsibilities include leading pre-sales technical design, shaping best practices around generative AI and agent interoperability, building prototypes and demos, developing thought leadership content, and acting as a central technical knowledge resource.

Experience
- 7+ years in customer-facing technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical advisory roles, partnering with Account Executives to drive enterprise deals.
- Proven expertise designing and delivering AI, GenAI, and data architectures within hyperscaler ecosystems such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, or Palantir.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and frameworks including OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, Cursor, or multi-agent orchestration.
- Deep knowledge of agent interoperability, prompt engineering, background/conversational agents, voice AI integrations, and open standards like Model Context Protocol (MCP) and A2A.
- Demonstrated ability to lead rapid prototyping, technical discovery workshops, and co-create proof-of-value demos for executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Preferred: Experience with multi-modal AI frameworks, voice pipelines, MLOps, vector search, or custom model fine-tuning.
