About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a Floor Manager to join our Leydi restaurant team at Hyde London City. Leydi is a modern Turkish restaurant bringing the all-day food culture of Istanbul to central London with expertly-prepared mangal meat & fish, heritage grain wood-fired breads, low intervention wines, and a sophisticated, fun ambience. You will be responsible for the overall daily running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and making sure guests feel special and eager to return.

Your key responsibilities will include running the daily show to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction, collaborating with the culinary team on menus, service, and product availability, and leading the daily briefing for the restaurant/bar team to promote daily specials and upselling techniques. You will coordinate and manage the reservations system and draft floor plans based on expected guest numbers. Supporting the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager with stock ordering, stock take, and training will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will handle cash flow and ensure revenue reports meet hotel standards, manage team scheduling, and ensure Health and Safety compliance for each shift. You will be responsible for the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.

Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Restaurants & Bars. A deep understanding of hospitality and guest expectations is essential.
