About the Role
Raffles London at The OWO is home to three unique dining experiences created by Mauro Colagreco, the acclaimed chef behind Mirazur, awarded Best Restaurant at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2019. Colagreco is also the first chef appointed as UNESCO Ambassador for biodiversity, promoting awareness of the impact food choices have on ecosystems. At Raffles London, Colagreco offers three dining experiences: Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, Saison, and Mauro’s Table. Driven by seasonality, local procurement, and sustainability, these restaurants showcase the UK’s best organic produce sourced daily from farms, fields, and shores across the country.

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day service within Mauro Colagreco Restaurants, ensuring outstanding guest service from arrival to departure. This role involves leading a station, managing waiters to ensure smooth service, maintaining the station and restaurant standards, and acting as the communication point between front of house and back of house teams. The Supervisor will support hostesses, baristas, and other team members when required, and relay guest feedback and requests to management.

Key responsibilities include delivering food orders promptly and accurately with detailed explanations, assisting wait staff with table settings, ensuring food safety standards, and committing to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing. Additional duties may include covering for line managers or senior employees and working in different departments or restaurants as needed.

Health and safety are paramount, with responsibilities to report and rectify hazards, adhere to fire, emergency, and bomb procedures, and promote a culture of safety awareness within the department.

Experience
Proven track record of surprising and delighting guests with high levels of service under pressure. Experience working in a team environment with strong time management and multitasking skills. Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is desirable.
