About the Role
We are looking for a Room Supervisor to join our TRIBE as we launched our first TRIBE Hotel into the London market in the summer of 2022. Conceived for a new type of traveller, it’s all about the mix. Unapologetic modern designed hotels that confidently mix n’ match mainstream style with bespoke eye-catching and iconic pieces. The result is a bold and fun place for a high-end experience at a fair price. Finally, a place that gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t.
As Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, ensuring they are always cleaned to brand standards and well presented and maintained. You will support the running of our hotel by ensuring guests have a memorable experience in spotless and well put together rooms.
You will lead and inspire the housekeeping team by example, creating an environment that allows them to be themselves and bring their best selves to work, encouraging their development and progression. Taking a hands-on approach, you will train and support your team to maintain our high standards. You will oversee and check the cleaning and servicing of all bedrooms and public areas.
Additionally, you will work closely with our Head Housekeeper to maintain and develop the partnership with our external housekeeping provider.
This is an exciting opportunity to head up an innovative hospitality concept new to the London market, joining a fast-growing international group committed to building a global brand. You will work in a creative and rewarding environment alongside a passionate team dedicated to creating great hospitality experiences.
Experience
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally around one year at Supervisor level. Experience with Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar front desk operating system is an advantage.
About you
You have an eagle-eye for detail and can spot a slip in standards from a mile away. You are a natural people person who motivates others and creates a positive working environment. You make those around you feel good at their jobs and comfortable coming to you with questions.
You are passionate about delivering high standards of service and have a hands-on management style that fosters a tight-knit team community. You are a born optimist who always puts guests, colleagues, and communities first. You are authentic, courageous, and entrepreneurial, willing to explore and experiment.
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other, and has fun along the way. You are not precious, leave egos at the door, and are ready to do things differently.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required, but a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential.
