About the Role
Join Novotel London Blackfriars and be part of a team that welcomes you as you are, supporting your growth and learning every day. As a Rooms Division Manager, you will lead the Reception and Housekeeping teams, overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional guest service, high standards of cleanliness, and smooth, efficient hotel functioning. You will be responsible for maintaining the hotel's image through exemplary attitude, warm and friendly welcomes, and frequent presence in the field. This leadership role involves managing and motivating teams to improve sales and quality, driving department results, and implementing Accor projects and identity features.

Key duties include ensuring high standards of guest services, organizing and maintaining quality in Reception and Housekeeping, developing close guest relationships, and being present in the lobby and reception areas. You will supervise departmental operations, initiate new projects, and coordinate their implementation and follow-up. You will also establish ongoing training to meet brand and service standards, induct new staff, communicate openly with teams, and foster a culture of trust and responsibility.

Commercially, you will prepare marketing and commercial action plans, optimize occupancy rates, monitor service standards through guest feedback and quality audits, and keep abreast of competitor activity. From a management perspective, you will draw up and monitor the annual department budget, implement room pricing policies to optimize REVPAR, manage headcount in line with activity levels and budget, analyze financial results, and take corrective actions as needed.

Novotel offers a competitive salary with up to 10% annual bonus, private health care scheme, discount card for Accor Hotels worldwide, complimentary UK hotel stays (subject to availability and T&Cs), ongoing training and development opportunities, additional holidays with length of service, employee advisory service, and additional employee benefits and wellbeing support. If you are a dedicated hospitality professional ready to advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply. Please note you must have full working rights to be considered.
