About the Role
As a Painter/Decorator at IBIS London City Shoreditch & IBIS Budget Whitechapel, you will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and comfort of our hotel premises. Your responsibilities will include preparing surrounding areas by covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes, preparing painting surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, and washing walls. You will apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes, hang wallpapers and other decorative products, and ensure all painting tools and supplies are cleaned and stored properly after completing projects. Additionally, you will conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment, handle basic repairs and maintenance, and actively contribute to the comfort of guests and visitors. You will maintain a proactive, can-do attitude, assist in record keeping and daily logs of repairs and maintenance, and apply the hotel's security regulations as required. Experience
Experience in painting and decorating is preferable. Knowledge of security regulations is also desirable.
